Early life and education

Rosellini holds a BA in Economics from the University of Dallas; an MS in Accounting, an MBA and an MS in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. He also holds a JD from Hofstra University; an MS in Regulatory science from the University of Southern California; and an MS in Computational biology from a joint program at Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Career

William Rosellini became the Chairman and CEO of Nexeon MedSystems Inc in 2016. Prior to the above positions, Rosellini was a founding CEO of Microtransponder from 2005 to 2012. He served as the Director of Commercialization at the Biomedical Device Center of the University of Texas at Dallas from 2013 to 2015. He was a Member Board of Directors for Marathon Patent Group from January 2013 to September 2016.

Rosellini was the Founding CEO of Lexington Technology Group, LLC from 2012 to 2013. During his tenure there, he was named an MTBC Tech Titan and GSEA Entrepreneur of the Year. He was also the Founding CEO of Sarif Biomedical from 2013 to 2014. Rosellini is an inventor on 15 patent applications and has published peer-reviewed articles in the area of bioinformatics and databases. He has testified to US Congress on the importance of non-dilutive funding for inventors and researchers.

Baseball career

Rosellini was a member of the 1994 Silver Medal Junior Olympic Team. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1997 and was a member of the 1997 Bronze Medal Team USA team.[12] He attended Vanderbilt University on full scholarship as a right-handed pitcher [13]. He transferred to Oklahoma State University and was a member of the 1999 College World Series team [14][15]. Rosellini transferred to the University of Dallas and was drafted in the 16th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He played in 2000 at the rookie level in the Arizona and Pioneer Leagues [16]. In addition, Rosellini was a popular writer for Baseball America [17].
